— MATERIALS / MOBTECO
Five materials. One of them, chosenfor every job.
Solid wood, melamine, stainless steel, glass and marble. Chosen for the space and its use, worked in our own workshop.
We don't push the cheapest material. We choose the right one for each job.
A hospital doesn't ask for what a hotel asks for, and a library doesn't ask for what a locker room asks for. So we start from the space, its use and the standards, then choose the material that fits, not the cheapest one on the list. We work with solid wood, melamine, stainless steel, glass and marble, all worked in our own workshop, with full traceability from board to finished piece.
Solid wood
For pieces that are seen and touched: tables, panelling, libraries, receptions. Warm, durable and easy to repair, chosen where the look and the use call for character, not just a surface.
Melamine
The workhorse for carcasses, fronts and matched series, in offices, schools or hotel rooms. A surface that stands up to daily use, easy to maintain, with dozens of finishes available.
Stainless steel
For medical spaces, laboratories and technical kitchen zones, where hygiene is unforgiving. Non-porous surfaces, easy to clean, resistant to frequent cleaning and heavy use.
Glass
Partitions, display cases, fronts and tops where light and transparency matter. It opens up a space and combines cleanly with wood, metal or marble.
Marble & stone
For tops, receptions and details that call for visual weight and a quality finish. A noble material that lasts, chosen for the areas that set the tone of a space.
— PRINCIPLES / MATERIALS
How we choose, how we work.
The right material, not the cheapest
We start from the space, its use and the standards, then recommend the material that lasts, not the one that comes out cheapest on the quote. We say up front why we choose a material and where it makes no sense.
Full traceability
We track every material from board to finished piece. We know what goes into each piece and can document its origin, useful at handover and in public tenders.
Bespoke finishes and hardware
Finishes, colours and hardware are chosen for each project, not from a fixed catalogue. We produce matched series, with the same finish and the same quality, down to the last piece.
In-house quality control
We check in our own workshop, not at the end on site. Quality control is part of the process, from material intake to the installed piece.
